TL;DR: Two clear-cell chondrosarcomas localized in the proximal part of femur of a 46 years old man and a 36 year old woman had a lobular pattern and consisted of clear oval and polygonal cells with abundant glycogen.
Abstract: Two clear-cell chondrosarcomas localized in the proximal part of femur of a 46 years old man and a 36 year old woman had a lobular pattern and consisted of clear oval and polygonal cells with abundant glycogen. Many giant multinuclear osteoclast-like cells belonged to the tumour in which they were irregularly distributed. The ground substance was a little basophilic and chondroid in appearance. Electron microscopy confirmed the tumour chondroid character with atypical cells.

TL;DR: This feature differentiates reported cases from the group of cardiac malformations with common ventricle, previously labelled as mixed transposition, in which, according to the prevailing opinions, the inflow portion of the right Ventricle is lacking.
Abstract: A rare malformation--double inlet left ventricle--has been found in a two and half month-old boy. Both right as well as left atrioventricular orifice communicated solely with the left ventricle, even when the right ventricle even though being hypoplastic contained all its components. This feature differentiates reported cases from the group of cardiac malformations with common ventricle, previously labelled as mixed transposition, in which, according to the prevailing opinions, the inflow portion of the right ventricle is lacking.

TL;DR: One-time examination of the normal tissue of the major salivary glands outside the pathologic foci revealed sebaceous cells in the glandular ducts in about 10% out of 433 patients, which is statistically significantly higher percentage than in the group in the first examination.
Abstract: One-time examination of the normal tissue of the major salivary glands outside the pathologic foci revealed sebaceous cells in the glandular ducts in about 10% out of 433 patients. In 8 of 45 patients with salivary gland was examined for the second time in a new operation material in necropsy with a time delay of 18 days to 13 years. Sebaceous cells were found in 2 examination in 3 persons, i.e. in almost 38%, which is statistically significantly higher percentage than in the group in the first examination. All 3 observations were positive up to 5 years after repeating excision. Dependence on the patient's age or on the basic diagnosis was not found. In carcinoma of the parotid gland extensive colonies of the sebaceous cells were present in the carcinoma at autopsy of this woman aged 81 a solitary carcinomatous focus in the lung was found 13 years after the removal of the tumor of the parotid gland. Microscopically it revealed the structure of a bronchiologenic carcinoma.

TL;DR: A 21-year-old man had a delimited tumour of a size of a nut, which grew expansively in the subcutaneous region of the thigh, which had the structure of neurofibroma with myofibrils and with a glandular component which on electronoptic examination was cylindromatous nature.
Abstract: A 21-year-old man had a delimited tumour of a size of a nut, which grew expansively in the subcutaneous region of the thigh. It had the structure of neurofibroma with myofibrils and with a glandular component which on electronoptic examination was cylindromatous nature. This case is the eighth one in literature and the first one documented electronoptically. A similar tumour in a 26-year-old woman was located in the subcutaneous layer of the calf but, apart from this electronoptic structure revealed a multitude of tumours cells of a tonofibril corresponding to the spinocellular epithelium. The possibility is discussed whether even this tumour may not be of neurofibromatous origin.

TL;DR: Electronmicroscopically particles of the size of the parvoviruses could be demonstrated in the nuclei of the myocardial cells, on one hand, and regressive changes of the nuclear components observed on the other hand.
Abstract: A description of the findings in a parvoviral epizooty, having occurred in a confined colony of 250 Beagle dogs in the autum and winter 1979-1980 and in 1981, is presented. 5 of the four month-old and older dogs perished in the course of an enteritic form of infection; 5 puppies, younger than 3 months, belonging to a group of 12 puppies derived from two infected litters, died in consequence of a parvoviral myocarditis. The simultaneous occurrence of myocarditis and enteritis was observed in a 9 day-old puppy. Among the seven remaining animals, two dogs were sacrificed at the ages of 18 and 23 months, respectively. Scars were found in the wall of the left ventricle of both of them. Parvoviral enteritis preceded the occurrence of parvoviral myocarditis. Characteristic intramuscular inclusions were demonstrated both in the enterocytes and in the myocardial cells. Electronmicroscopically particles of the size of the parvoviruses could be demonstrated in the nuclei of the myocardial cells, on one hand, and regressive changes of the nuclear components observed on the other hand.

TL;DR: In a 25-years-old man following a virus of short duration, cardiac dyspnea developed and within ten days following the onset of the disease, the patient died with manifestations of heart failure and a congenital aneurysm of the sinus of Valsalva was found at the post-mortem.
Abstract: In a 25-years-old man following a virus of short duration, cardiac dyspnea developed and within ten days following the onset of the disease, the patient died with manifestations of heart failure. A congenital aneurysm of the sinus of Valsalva was found at the post-mortem accompanied by a double perforation into the right atrium. In accordance with the literature, this finding is considered to be rather rare. The malformation was associated with a fenestration of the aortic and the pulmonary valves.

TL;DR: Quantitative study of the incidence of Marinesco's bodies proved a close relation between the frequency of occurrence and the rising age.
Abstract: Substantia nigra in 33 random cases were examined histologically. Quantitative study of the incidence of Marinesco's bodies proved a close relation between the frequency of occurrence and the rising age. Moreover, nosologic units of significantly higher incidence of these inclusions were found than in the cases of other, randomly chosen ones. Their pathogenesis is discussed.
