TL;DR: In this paper, the authors measured seismic responses to vertically oriented fracture models made of different material and under different temperature and various atmospheric pressure conditions using MTS (a rock Mechanics Test System).
Abstract: Seismic responses to vertically oriented fracture models made of different material and under different temperature and various atmospheric pressure conditions were measured using MTS(a rock Mechanics Test System). From comparison and analysis of those seismic responses we find that many seismic characteristic parameters such as seismic velocity, amplitude, attenuation, spectrum etc. can be used to detect the fracture system, but the effect of vertically fracture system on seismic amplitude is much more effective than that on seismic velocity. Therefore, seismic amplitude as well as attenuation characteristic attribute may be much better than velocity one for the detection of the fracture system.

TL;DR: A mathematical method Power Algorithm is introduced, which is used to calculate maximum eigen value and corresponding eigenvector of a matrix and is replaced by the traditional Jacob method, which reduces largely calculating time without losing accuracy.
Abstract: This paper introduces a mathematical method Power Algorithm, which is used to calculate maximum eigen value and corresponding eigenvector of a matrix. In attribute analysis, some conventional technologies such as the third generation Coherence Algorithm and multi attribute weighted comprehensive parameter method, are based on the analysis of covariance matrix eigen structure. Analyzing the procedure of processing algorithm, we found out that they only need computation of maximum eigen value and corresponding eigenvector. To improve computation efficiency, we replace the traditional Jacob method by this Power Algorithm, which reduces largely calculating time without losing accuracy.

TL;DR: In this paper, some technical details of cluster system and network parallel compute environment are discussed and an example of based on PC cluster is given.
Abstract: The parallel compute environment based on networks is an important tendency of developing parallel environments. The computer cluster supported by the network parallel environment has the advantages of less investment, scalability and high flexibility. It is especially suitable for the most of scientific research and educational organizations of our country. In this paper, some technical details of cluster system and network parallel compute environment are discussed and an example of based on PC cluster is also given.

TL;DR: In this paper, complex signal analysis is applied to separate instantaneous spectra, instantaneous phase and instantaneous frequency from Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) signal, and it is suggested that weak signal can be more easily distinguished by instantaneous phase.
Abstract: Complex signal analysis is applied to separate instantaneous spectra, instantaneous phase and instantaneous frequency from Ground Penetrating Radar(GPR)signal It is suggested that weak signal can be more easily distinguished by instantaneous phase and underground media characteristics might be inferred by instantaneous spectra and frequency according to data modeling and site tests The complex signal analysis also proves to be one of the best way to improve accuracy to interpret GPR images

TL;DR: In this article, the authors applied the synthesis plane wave technology introduced by Berkhout(1992) to Rytov approximation to improve the calculation efficiency of prestack depth migration with wave equation.
Abstract: In order to improve the calculation efficiency of prestack depth migration with wave equation, we apply the synthesis plane wave technology introduced by Berkhout(1992) to Rytov approximation. The test on Mamousi model data shows that the calculation efficiency of prestack depth migration with wave equation by the synthesis plane wave technology for common shot gather can be improved about 10 times faster than that with the wave equation with the same imaging quality.
