TL;DR: There are great distinctions of icariin and total flavonoid contents for different growth phase, showing that it is better to collect the Epimedium herbs between flower period and fruit period (from April to May), considering its quality, output and development.
Abstract: To determine the change of flavonoid contents of Epimedium myrianthum and Epimedium acuminatum in Guizhou for different growth phase,HPLC and UV were employed.Then reasonable time for collecting was confirmed.The results showed that there are great distinctions of icariin and total flavonoid contents for different growth phase,behaving as: flower periodfruit periodbefore flower periodafter fruit period.Thus it is better to collect the Epimedium herbs between flower period and fruit period(from April to May),considering its quality,output and development.

Abstract: Field surveys have been carried out in Fujian's tea plantations.The surveys showed that there are 45 spider species,and different type of tea plantation has different spiders,natural enemies to tea pests.Ecological management and integrated pest management(IPM) technique have a remarkable effect on protecting spiders,except the utilization of pesticides.Cultivation manners also apparently have killing effect to spider species.Spider is the major natural enemy to Aleurocanthus spiniferus Quaint and Empoasca vitis (Gothe),especially web spinning spiders have strong netting to their imagoes.

Abstract: Foxiang 3,a newly hybrid green tea cultivar with fine quality,was selectively and individually bred from the progenies of artificial pollination between Fuding Dabaicha variety and Changye Baihao variety in1980.Through experiments of cultivar comparison and the regional trial many years,Fuxiang 1 is characterized with rich aroma,fine quality,high yield,and strong antireversion.It is an elite cultivar fitting to manufacture green tea,suitable to popularize in Yunnan large-leaf area.

Abstract: For accurately,rapidly and conveniently determining alliin and garlicin in garlic,reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography(RP-HPLC) was employed with column of waters symmetry C18(4.6mm i.d.×150mm,5μm),detector in wavelength of 214 nm for alliin and 254 nm for garlicin, and mobile phase of methanol :water(30 :70) in the flow rate of 0.8ml / min.The results show that alliin is within 0.01~0.35mg/ml,in good linearity with correlation coefficient of 99.6 and average recovery of 99.85±1.53 %

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of aluminum on the germination of capsicum seed with different concentration of aluminum solution (0 mg/l, 5 mg /l, 10 mg /L,10 mg/L, 20 mg /λ, 40 mg/λ) was investigated.
Abstract: The study deals with the effect of aluminum on the germination of capsicum seed with different concentration of aluminum solution(0 mg /l,5 mg /l,10 mg /l,20 mg /l,40mg /l).The results show that the treatment by lower aluminum solutions(5 mg/l and 10 mg/l) can increase the germination rate,power and index,vigor index,and fresh weight of the plant,and has promotion to the growth of bud and root of capsicum.On the contrary,the treatment by higher aluminum solutions(the 20 mg/l and 40 mg/l) reduces the effects.

Abstract: Two superior varieties,Jinguanyin(or Mingke 1) and Huangguanyin,were bred from the F1 of Tieguanyin×Huangjingui after 20 years of seedling selection,strain comparison tests,adaptability tests and cultivation demonstration.The two varieties have been successively appraised in the provincial and state level.The two varieties are suitable for processing oolong tea and green tea.And Huangguanyin is also suitable for processing black tea and white tea.They have strong fragrance and their qualities are better than that of Huangjingui.Their aroma and percentage of processing superior tea are higher than that of Tieguanyin.Their biochemical contents,polyphenols,amino acids,and characteristic aroma components of oolong tea,such as terpenols and their oxides,esters,lactones and ketones are rich.The genetic traits of Jinguanyin and Huangguanyin are similar to female and male parent,respectively.The two varieties have high over-parent heterosis,the average yields are 20%~60% higher than that of their parents.Their propagation ability,antireversion and environmental adaptability are significantly higher than that of their parents.They are early sprouting clones;the plucking time is similar to that of Huangjingui,and about 13d and 10d respectively earlier than that of Tieguanyin.The two varieties are suitable to be extended in the area of Fuding Dabaicha.
