Abstract: This paper reviews policy aspects and progress which has been made in achieving energy savings by improved control of hospital ventilation systems and is a 'follow-up' to the author's paper--'Hospital Ventilation Systems--a Review of the Progress of Heat Recovery'--presented at the Institute's Annual Conference at Seaton Burn in May 1980.
