Abstract: Project Choices is a residential treatment program for drug-abusing adjudicated adolescents that employs the adventure-based counseling model to instill change. Its goals have been to reduce conduct-disordered behavior associated with delinquency and drug use. Thus far, the program has proved effective.

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to investigate the childhood sexual victimizations reported among juvenile offenders and determine the intervention strategies considered most influential in facilitating the self-disclosure of those assaults. These findings are discussed in relation to the need for developing humanistic peer group intervention strategies within juvenile correctional facilities.

The distribution of DIT scores was found to be similar to those of nonfelonious samples. Implications for the treatment of offender populations are discussed.
