TL;DR: Five representative ENMs were compared and it was strongly suggested that an adaptive ENM or combinations of multiple ENMs would improve the prediction accuracy of modeling.
Abstract: Ecological Niche Models( ENM),as quantized tools to explore diverse issues in habitat selection, species distribution and invasive alien species, could provide scientific prediction of distributions by relating presence or abundance of species, and have been widely applied in related researches. Many ENMs specialized in different field have been developed to explore related questions, which should be selected by an effective way. And the accuracy of the model prediction is the determinant of model selection, which is restricted on the distribution data and the environment variables. Five representative ENMs( GARP,MaxEnt,ENFA,BIOCLIM and CLIMEX) were compared in this paper to find out the difference among them. It was strongly suggested that an adaptive ENM or combinations of multiple ENMs would improve the prediction accuracy of modeling.

TL;DR: To determine the prevalence of helminths in captive giant pandas,210 fecal samples were collected from the captive pandas in Sichuan province of China and then subjected to centrifugal flotation for detection of Helminth eggs using saturated magnesium sulfate.
Abstract: To determine the prevalence of helminths in captive giant pandas,210 fecal samples were collected from the captive pandas in Sichuan province of China and then subjected to centrifugal flotation for detection of helminth eggs using saturated magnesium sulfate. The results showed that the positive rate of Baylisascaris schroederi eggs across all tested samples was 25. 71%( 54 /210). There was a significant differences( P 0. 05) found in the prevalence of B. schroederi between different captive regions or tested months, while no differences were observed between panda ages or sexes( P 0. 05).

TL;DR: According to the relevant informations of domestic and foreign musk deer(Moschus moschiferus) habitat selection in the recent years, five major ecological factors, namely vegetation type, food, water, human disturbance, climate, affecting Musk deer habitat selection were analyzed.
Abstract: According to the relevant informations of domestic and foreign musk deer( Moschus moschiferus) habitat selection in the recent years, five major ecological factors, namely vegetation type, food, water, human disturbance, climate, affecting musk deer habitat selection were analyzed to discuss the original ecological mechanism of musk deer habitat selection for supplying the basis of reasonable protection for musk deer populations.

TL;DR: The current research status and application of deer product collagen were reviewed to provide references for further development and use of deer products.
Abstract: Collagen as an important functional protein had been extensively used in food, cosmetic, biologic and medical fields. As a new type of collagen resource, deer products was of great significance to be studied and developed. In this paper, the current research status and application of deer product collagen were reviewed to provide references for further development and use of deer products.

TL;DR: The results indicated that weight gain rate, specific growth rate and feed efficiency ratio increased significantly as dietary methionine levels increased from 0.
Abstract: This experiment was conducted to determine the optimal dietary methionine level of Macrobrachium nipponense, based on the evaluation of growth performance, feed efficiency ratio, body composition, muscle amino acids composition and liver digestive enzyme activities Six isonitrogenous( 36 07% crude protein) and isocaloric( 18 09 kJ /g gross energy) semi-purified diets were formulated with casein, gelatin, fish meal, wheat glutenand and crystalline amino acid( AA) mixture The measured methionine levels of the experimental diets were 0 38%,0 47%,0 56%,0 64%,0 75% and 0 88%,respectively Each diet was fed to four groups of 50 Macrobrachium nipponense with an average initial body weight of 0 30 g in floating net cages( 0 6 m × 0 6 m ×0 6 m) The experim for 56 days The results indicated that weight gain rate, specific growth rate and feed efficiency ratio increased significantly( P 0 05) as dietary methionine levels increased from 0 38% to 0 88% with their maximum values being attained at 0 64%,respectively However, they decreased with further increasing dietary methionine levels The highest whole-body protein content was observed in Macrobrachium nipponense fed 0 64% dietary methionine It was significantly( P 0 05) higher than that of Macrobrachium nipponense fed 0 38% dietary methionine( P 0 05) No significant difference( P 0 05) was found in whole-body moisture, ash and lipid content and muscle AA contents among the treatments Liver protease activities were significantly( P 0 05) affected by dietary methionine levels, whereas lipase and amylase activities The secondorder regression analysis of WGR against dietary methionine levels indicated that the dietary methionine requirement of Macrobrachium nipponense was 0 70% of diet( and 1 94% of diet protein)
