Abstract: automatic short answer grading (ASAG) is the process of assessing short answers by utilizing computational approaches. Recent research attempts to solve this problem based on semantic similarity and deep learning models. The objective of this paper is to evaluate the proposed models in grading short answers by computing the semantic similarity between the student and a key answer. We suggest training the paragraph vectors and transfer learning models on a domain-specific corpus instead of using the pre-trained models. Then, the trained models are used to generate embeddings that represent the student and reference answers as vectors. We computed the similarity between the vectors of the reference and student’s answer.
TL;DR: An Intelligent Tutoring System (ITS) as discussed by the authors gives tailored teaching to students based on their learning preferences and/or skills to address the problems of learning, such as the difficulty of providing quality learning to students in remote areas, which may be hard to reach by students and teachers.
Abstract: an Intelligent Tutoring System (ITS) gives tailored teaching to students based on their learning preferences and/or skills to address the problems of learning. These include the difficulty of providing quality learning to students in remote areas, which may be hard to reach by students and/or teachers. Additionally, tracking the progress of each individual student and providing suitable learning material and exercises is not an easy task. One of the best candidates for such systems is Arabic grammar, which is a quite complex subject. Nevertheless, due to this complexity it hasn’t been adequately handled by researchers. Also, those systems have generally been developed for elementary-level grammar courses.
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors proposed a method to detect fake reviews in product reviews. But the number of studies on automatic detection of fake reviews is limited. And the usefulness of online reviews can be hindered by fake reviews.
Abstract: With the high spread of technology and e-commerce platforms, especially after the pandemic of COVID-19, customers increasingly rely on product reviews to assess their online choices. However, the usefulness of online reviews can be hindered by fake reviews. Therefore, detection of fake reviews is needed. Unfortunately, the number of studies on the automatic detection of fake reviews is limited.
TL;DR: In this paper , a machine learning and data analysis together represent a powerful force in producing analysis and forecasting models which in turn support the growth of different fields, in terms of safety and people, road traffic accidents have a negative impact on individuals, governments and companies.
