Abstract: In this paper,LPC predictor coefficients and LPC-derived coefficients are studied and compared from the point of view of computation method.A new set of features composed of LPC coefficients and speech frame energy is introduced.Closed-set text-independent speaker identification experiments with 20 speakers are conducted using a GMM classifier.The experimental results show that,compared to LPC-derived coefficients,the proposed feature parameters can provide comparable accuracy with lower computational complexity and compared to LPC coefficients,the proposed feature parameters can yield significantly improved performance with slightly higher computational complexity,especially for short test utterance.

Abstract: Customer lossing problems are concerned by telecom operators as market becoming more competitive.Based on data mining technology,Bayesian networks classifier is used in the analysis of the problems.During the process of Bayesian networks modeling,K2 and MCMC algorithms are utilized together.Effective variables are distilled through topology of networks,and churn rules are drawn based on CPT(condition probability table),then high probability churn customer groups are obtained.Considering loss function in classifier,different criterions and their class effects are provided.In contrast with other algorithm,such as decision tree and ANN(artificial neural networks),Bayesian networks can be modeled without over-sampling,when churn rate is relatively low.

Abstract: In this paper,the short path propagation of an electromagnetic pulse generated numerically from a wideband conical monopole antenna through reinforced concrete wall of buildings has been studied in the timedomain using the finite-difference time-domain(FDTD) method.Computational results demonstrated the effects of the reinforced concrete wall on pulse signal propagation including the pulse waveform distortion made of transmitting antenna,field distribution when pulse propagating through wall,reflection of pulse peak and pulse waveform reflected from and transmitted through reinforced concrete wall.
