TL;DR: In this article, the augmented Zagreb index (AZI) has been shown to possess the best correlation ability among several topological indices and tight bounds for the AZI of chemical bicyclic and chemical unicyclic graphs.
Abstract: Topological indices play an important role in Mathematical Chemistry, especially in thequantitative structure-property relationship (QSPR) and quantitative structure-activityrelationship (QSAR) studies. Recent research indicates that to predict the certainphysico-chemical properties of particular types of molecules, the augmented Zagrebindex (AZI) possess the best correlating ability among several topological indices. Themain purpose of the current study is to establish some mathematical properties of thisindex or, more precisely, to report tight bounds for the AZI of chemical bicyclic andchemical unicyclic graphs. A Nordhaus-Gaddum-type result for AZI (of connectedgraph whose complement is connected) is also derived.

TL;DR: This survey reviewed how avantgrademachine learning models can help in this dilemma of ambiguity in speech and language processing and discussed different existing machine learning models and their classification into different categories.
Abstract: Machine learning and Statistical techniques are powerful analysis tools yet to be incorporated in the new multidisciplinaryfield diversely termed as natural language processing (NLP) or computational linguistic. The linguistic knowledge maybe ambiguous or contains ambiguity; therefore, various NLP tasks are carried out in order to resolve the ambiguity in speech and language processing. The current prevailing techniques for addressing various NLP tasks as a supervised learning are hidden Markov models (HMM), conditional random field (CRF), maximum entropy models (MaxEnt), support vector machines (SVM), Nave Bays, and deep learning (DL).The goal of this survey paper is to highlightambiguity in speech and language processing, to provide brief overview of basic categories of linguistic knowledge, to discuss different existing machine learning models and their classification into different categories and finally to provide a comprehensive review of different state of the art machine learning models with the goal that new researchers lookinto these techniques and depending on these, develops advance techniques. In this survey we reviewed how avantgrademachine learning models can help in this dilemma.

TL;DR: In this paper, the Korteweg-de Vries-Burgers (KdVB) equation is solved numerically by anew differential quadrature method based on quintic B-spline functions.
Abstract: In this paper, the Korteweg-de Vries-Burgers’ (KdVB) equation is solved numerically by anew differential quadrature method based on quintic B-spline functions. The weightingcoefficients are obtained by semi-explicit algorithm including an algebraic system with fivebandcoefficient matrix. The L2 and L∞ error norms and lowest three invariants 1 2 I , I and3 I have computed to compare with some earlier studies. Stability analysis of the method isalso given. The obtained numerical results show that the present method performs better thanthe most of the methods available in the literature.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors introduced the concept of pointwise statistical convergence of order α of sequences of fuzzy mappings and proved that α-statistically Cauchy sequence is equivalent to pointwise statistically convergent α of sequence of mappings.
Abstract: In this paper, we introduce the concept of pointwise statistical convergence of order α of sequences of fuzzy mappings. Furthermore we give the concept of α-statistically Cauchy sequence for sequences of fuzzy mappings and prove that it is equivalent to pointwise statistical convergence of order α of sequences of fuzzy mappings. Also some relations between Sβ(F)-statistical convergence and strong wpα F)-summability are given.

TL;DR: The Um-Rimam depression is a mere erosional feature, because no indications of a tectonic origin have been found in the study area as discussed by the authors, and the depression has a variety of surface sediments such as pebbly sheets, active sand sheets, wadi fill deposits, alluvial fans, falling dunes, and nabkha deposits around shrub.
Abstract: Um-Rimam depression is one of the largest depressions in Kuwait. It is about 16.5 km2 and located in northern Kuwait. It consists of a northern and southern playa whose floors cover 0.39 and 0.72 km2 at 50 m and 60 m above sea level, respectively. The two playas are separated by a narrow zone (250 m in width) called the neck area. The depression is developed on alluvial sediments classified under Kuwait Group (Oligo-Pleistocene). The main geomorphological features of the study area are wadis, playas and yardangs. 73 wadis (11 major and 62 minor wadis) were observed in the field with variable orientations. The depression is a mere erosional feature, because no indications of a tectonic origin have been found in the study area. The depression has a variety of surface sediments such as pebbly sheets, active sand sheets, wadi fill deposits, alluvial fans, falling dunes, and nabkha deposits around shrub (Haloxylon salicornicum and Lycium shawii). The surface sediments in the Um-Rimam depression are sandy, poorly sorted, positively skewed and very platykurtic. The amount of aeolian deposits (sand and dust) is low in the study area compared to the average deposited aeolian particles in surrounding areas within Kuwait, but the annual amount of sand trapped in the northern playa (31 kg.yr-1) is higher than the southern playa. The proposed artificial lakes in the depression might be good for improving the vegetation cover and wildlife, but an environmental impact assessment study should be prepared.
