Abstract: With the increasing pregnancy obesity,the poor outcome is thought highly of a dramatic problem.This article summarized the physiology,pathological change,and the risk during gestation period,birth process,and long-term after delivery associated to the pregnancy obesity and showed that it will be better to the pregnancy obesity by controlling the weight gain or keeping invariant during the period of generation.

Abstract: Recent studies provide increasing support for the concept that there is a association between small intestinal bacterial overgrowth(SIBO)and irritable bowel syndrome(IBS):several double-blind randomized trials describe that SIBO is more prevalent in patients with IBS vs.matched controls without IBS,and.eradication therapy is effective in reducing IBS symptoms.It is also considered that SIBO has been implicated in the pathogenesis of IBS.But these studies are far from being exhaustive and conclusive.This article reviewed recently published studies demonstrating associations between them,the pathophysiology that may be involved in,and the effect of antibiotic treatment.

Abstract: Heart failure is terminal phase of a variety of cardiovascular diseases.Ventricular arrhythmia in patients with heart failure is one of the major risk factors of death,the incidence of 80% to95%.At present,four major clinical types of commonly used anti-arrhythmia drugs are poor,so in-depth study of heart failure complicated by the occurrence of ventricular arrhythmia mechanisms,looking for a new anti-arrhythmic drug target for the treatment of heart arrhythmias.At present,in patients with heart failure,a number of factors that lead to abnormal cardiac electrophysiology induced arrhythmia through the trigger,automaticity,and reentry mechanism.

Abstract: As a frequently-occurring and refractoriness disease in orthopedic clinic,osteonecrosis of the femoral head has a long course and shy-high mutilation rate.Non-traumatic osteonecrosis of the femoral head has more complex cause,and often can not be timely diagnosed and treated.With the worsened condition,it eventually leads to hip dysfunction,and seriously impacts on quality of life.In this paper,the research progress of epidemiology about non-traumatic osteonecrosis of the femoral head was reviewed to further understand the general incidence,clear the main trend in the incidence of pathogenic factors and provide more comprehensive information for the diagnosis.

Abstract: Alzheimer′s disease(AD)is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder and the most common cause of dementia,affecting millions eldly people worldwide,which is characterized by neuritic plaque and neurofibrillary tangles pathologically.The factors associated with the onset and progression of the disease are not entirely known now,but more and more researchers considered the link between the environmental factors and the occurrence of Alzheimer′s disease in recent years,and scholars paid more attention to the metal elements such as aluminum,copper,zinc,etc.in natural environment,among which aluminum become the research focus.A lot of epidemiological evidence suggests that elevated levels of aluminum in drinking water may be linked to the development of AD,and some researcher pose the theory of β-amyloid、lipid peroxidation、cholinergic and so on,the metal chelator therapy as a potential treatment for AD is also to be discussed.In this review we will give a summary about the recerach of the Aluminium and AD rencently.

Abstract: By doing exercises moderately,pregnant women can keep muscles in good condition and ease the discomfort during both pregnancy and delivery.In addition,the heart rates of the fetus remains normal regardless the exercises that have been performed.Moreover,exercises can increase the possibility of natural delivery and it can decrease the rate of cesarean section.Which is favorable for the post-partum recovery.Thetypes of exercises are subject to change due to the variability of health conditions of each individuals.However,one is highly recommended to consult a professional of obstetrics and gynecology before doing any kind of exercise.Thus,a proper amount of exercises can benefit the expectant mother,while do no harm to the fetus.

Abstract: Objective To investigate the association of asthma with gene polymorphisms in 16 position of β2-adenergic receptor(β2-AR-16)and cigarette smoking,and its combination effect on FEV1 in asthma.Methods This was a study of the molecular epidemiology in patients with asthma.The research design was a case-control study.β2-AR-16 gene polymorphisms were detected by sequencing the specific PCR-products directly,FEV1% was measured with respiromete and smoking status was recorded in 120 asthma patients and 120 age and sex matched healthy controls.Further more the association analysis including cigarette smoking with β2-AR-16 gene polymorphisms,and FEV1 with cigarette smoking and β2-AR-16 gene polymorphisms were performed.Multiple logistic regression was used to calculate the odds ratio(OR)and the 95% confidence interval(CI)and to adjust for potential confounding factors.Results The ratio of cigarette smoking in asthma groups was higher than that in normal groups(P=0.0186).Compared with never-smoking Arg-16 homozygotes,those ever-smokers who are Arg-16 homozygotes hold a significantly increased risk of asthma[odds ratio(OR)=9.74;95% confidence interval(CI):2.07 to 43.50].This association showed a clear dose-response relationship with the number of cigarettes smoked.In never-smoking asthmas,subjects with different β2-AR-16 gene polymorphisms had different FEV1,the difference of FEV1 between each of them were significant(all P0.05),at the same times,in asthmas with different β2-AR-16 gene polymorphisms,the difference of FEV1 between smoking groups and never-smoking groups were also significant(all P0.05).Conclusion The interaction between cigarette smoking and Arg-16 homozygotes increased the susceptibility of an individual to asthma;Cigarette smoking in coordination with β2-AR-16 gene polymorphisms had impairment effect on FEV1.

Abstract: Myocardial fibrosis links with many clinical diseases and pathological process,such as hypertension,myocardial infarction,viral myocarditis,atherosclerosis and diabetes.Myocardial fibrosis causes heart failure,arrhythmia,sudden cardiac death and other serious complications.Prevention and reversal of myocardial fibrosis is important in clinical treatment.However,the pathogenesis of myocardial fibrosis remains unclear.Myocardial fibrosis has been found to relate with renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system,oxidative stress,inflammatory factors,growth factors,coronary endothelial dysfunction and imbalance of endothelium-derived cytokine secretion.This article reviewed study progress about the pathogenesis of myocardial fibrosis.

Abstract: Endoplasmic reticulum(ER)is widely existed in eukaryotes and it has the function of both calcium storage and protein folding.Accumulation of unfolded or misfolded protein in the ER can lead to ER stress.To adapt to the occurrence of ER stress,cells activate highly conserved stress response,the endoplasmic reticulum stress(UPR).ER stress and UPR have been implicated in diabates,tumors,neurodegenerative diseases and cerebral ischemia.Thispaper reviewed the important roles of ER stress and UPR in tumor progression and provided novel avenues for potential therapies.
