Abstract: 1. The representation of the universe deliberately reduced in space and community. 2. The predetermined nature of man submitted to time, the inevitability of fate and the techniques of using up the process of human remembering — fighting against this fate. The double result of the latter isa) the assuring of a kind of eternity by turning the mortal man into a mythical hero,b) the actualization of time past, the transformation of the course of time into an eternal present. 3. A complex, global vision resulting from the interrelation between the recollection and its subject which can be a man or a process. 4. The transmission of an experience of mystery suggested by the contradictory nature of existence with the help of the marvellous, the hypnotic prose and the incompetent narrator .
