Abstract: Objective To investigate the relationship between CYP1A1,GSTT1,GSTM1 gene polymorphism and esophageal cancer susceptibility in Ningxia Hui nationality.Methods 40 samples form patients with esophageal cancer and 80 healthy control were collected.Both patients and healthy control are all local Hui people.The DNA samples were extracted form esophageal cancer paraffin-embedded tissue blocks by using resin-based DNA extraction kits.And genotypes of CYPIA1,GSTT1 and GSTM1 were analyzed.Results Both esophageal cancer group and control group were investigated by age,gender,smoking history as well as alcohol consumption,and results showed that no significant difference between two groups(P0.05).MSP1 locus genotypes of the three genotypes in CYP1A1 in esophageal cancer group and control group were not significant distribution of difference(P0.05);GSTT1(-) genotype in esophageal cancer group and control group were significantly different(P0.05).GSTM1(-) genotype in the esophageal cancer group and control group were not significant differences in the distribution(P0.05).T1(-) M1(+),T1(+) M1(+) in the esophageal cancer group and control group were different in the distribution(P0.05).CYP1A1,GSTT1 and GSTM1 combined genotypes in esophageal cancer group and control group were not significant differences in the distribution.However,T1(-) M1(-) tc / cc group showed that combined genes in esophageal cancer might increase tendency(OR=2.212).Conclusion The Msp1 CYP1A1 polymorphism alone may not relate with the recurrence of esophageal cancer in Ningxia Hui nationality.However,GSTT1(-) genotype maybe one of the risk factors of esophageal cancer.The deletion of GSTT1 and GSTM1 genotypes maybe related with esophageal cancer in Ningxia Hui nationality.

Abstract: Objective To investigate the semen zizyphi spinosi mixture's curative effects of sedation,hypnotic action and spontaneous activity inhibition in mice.Methods With the electronic counting method and turn over reflecting method,the number of movement and sleeping time was determined in mice.Results The high-,medium-and low-dose group of semen zizyphi spinosi mixture increased sleeping animal number and time,significantly suppressed the spontaneous activity,defecate number in mouse,lengthened sleeping time of sedative hypnotics(diazepam) with those the untreated group(P0.05 or P0.01).Conclusion Semen zizyphi spinosi mixture has sedative hypnotic effects and spontaneous activity inhibition in mice.

Abstract: Objective To study the clinicopathological characteristics of gastrointestinal stromal tumor.Methods Immunohistochemical staining were used to determine the expression of CD117,CD34,Vimentin,S-100,Desmin in 54 cases of gastrointestinal stromal tumor. ResultsExpress of CD117,CD34,Vimentin,S-100,Desmin were found in 68.52%,88.89%,100%,7.4% and 18.52% of the tumor cases respectively.Conclusion Despite their similar light microscopic appearance, GIST are immunoophenotypically heterogeneous,requiring immunohistochemical for accurate characterization.

Abstract: Objective To investigate the analgesic activities of DTF, and discuss the analgsic mechanism of the total flavonoids of Daphne genkwa.Methods Adopting adjuvant arthrititis(AA) model by freund's complete adjuvant, the influence of DTF on pain-threshold, the nociceptive level, the content of PGE 2, the activity of SOD were observed, compared with indomethacin.Results DTF evidently increased pain-threshold, debased the nociceptive level, inhibited the production of PGE 2,enhanced the activity of SOD in AA rats,and the analgesic effects of DTF was similar to that of indomethacin in our experiment.Conclusion DTF were one of the major components suppressing pain and its mechanism may be related to decreasing the product of PGE 2, as well as enhancing the activity of SOD

Abstract: Objective To investigate the effect of calcium-activated chloride(ClCa) channels on proliferation of pulmonary artery smooth muscle cells(PASMCs) in rats under chronic hypoxic condition.Methods The cultured PASMCs were under normoxic and chronic hypoxic conditions:The cells were observed by light and electron microscope;The cell cycles were observed by flow-cytometry;Immunocytochemistry staining was used to detect the expressions of PCNA,c-fos and c-jun of PASMCs.Results The PASMCs were contractile phenotype under normoxic condition and were synthetic phenotype under chronic hypoxic condition.After NFA and IAA-94,the situations were reversal;The number of S + G2M PASMCs were significantly increased in chronic hypoxic condition;The NFA and IAA-94 were significantly decreased after intervention and the number of G0G1 PASMCs were significantly increased(P 0.01) ;In chronic hypoxic condition,the expression of proliferating cell nucleus antigen was significantly increased;The NFA and IAA-94 were significantly decreased(P 0.01) ;The expression A of c-fos and c-jun were significantly increased in chronic hypoxic condition;The NFA and IAA-94 were respectively significantly decreased(P 0.01).Conclusion Hypoxic initiated the changes of PASMCs from contractile to synthetic phenotype could increase proliferation of PASMCs.NFA and IAA-94 could depress cell proliferation by blocking ClCa channels in hypoxic condition.These may play an important role in proliferation of PASMCs under chronic hypoxic condition.
