TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used four substrates: soluble starch, insoluble starch, jwar (sorghum) and sweet potato, and reported 92.79% ethanol from starch after hydrolysis of starch by acid was studied.
Abstract: At present amylase is used for hydrolysis of starch before alcohol fermentation. Ethanol production from starch after hydrolysis of starch by acid was studied in this paper. Hydrochloric acid was used for hydrolysis. Different acid concentration and time were used for hydrolysis. We have used four substrates: soluble starch, insoluble starch, jwar (sorghum) and sweet potato. Jwar (sorghum) and sweet potato are starchy substrates available in plenty. These substrates we have used. We observed 92.79% hydrolysis with 13.33% soluble starch, 16.66% HCl concentration for 30 minutes. We observed 96.51% hydrolysis of insoluble starch (14.28%) by 20.63% HCl when 20 minutes heating time was used. In case of jwar we found 69.23% hydrolysis where 17.85% jwar (sorghum) was treated with 20.63% HCl for 30 minutes heating. We got 62.08% hydrolysis for 14.28% sweet potato starch treated with 20.63% HCl for 30 minutes heating. pH adjustment of hydrolyzate was studied. NaOH, NaOH with potassium phosphate for buffering action, calcium hydroxide, calcium carbonate were studied for pH adjustment. These hydrolyzate were subjected to fermentation after adjusting pH. Baker's yeast was used for fermentation. Fermentation was carried out at temperature 28°C without shaking for 24h. We have obtained 4.37, 4.57 and 3.61% ethanol from fermentation soluble starch, insoluble starch and jwar (sorghum) hydrolyzate respectively.

TL;DR: The acid value is the number of mg of potassium hydroxide required to neutralize the free acid in 1 g of the substance as discussed by the authors, which is a measure of the breakdown of the triacylglycrols into free fatty acids, which has an adverse effect.
Abstract: The acid value is the number of mg of potassium hydroxide required to neutralize the free acid in 1 g of the substance. The acid value is measure of the breakdown of the triacylglycrols into free fatty acids, which has an adverse effect. On account of oxidation of any substance get spoil and decrease the good quality of that substance, oxidation of any substance get increase the acid value. Similarly if oil oxidized its shows high acid value In good oil, the acid value should be very low (< 0.1). The increase in acid value should be taken as an indicator of oxidation of oil which may lead to gum and sludge formation besides corrosion.

TL;DR: Significant decrease in Leptocoryza varicornis population was observed after foliar spray of vermiwash with neem oil followed by aqueous garlic and annona leaf extract, which caused complete removal of the L. varicORNis infestation.
Abstract: Gandhi bug Leptocoryza varicornis is one of the major pests of rice crop which reduces the crop yield. Foliar spray of single and binary combination of vermiwash with biopesticides prevents loss of panicle and increase the crop yield. Significant decrease in Leptocoryza varicornis population was observed after foliar spray of vermiwash with neem oil followed by aqueous garlic and annona leaf extract. The combination of neem oil with vermiwash caused complete removal of the L. varicornis infestation. The vermiwash (obtained from buffalo dung and municipal solid wastes) with neem oil or garlic bulb extract is better alternative to manage the Gandhi bug population in rice crop during panicle formation stage which ultimately enhances the yield. The organic farming is the boon for farmers. The aim of present study to enhance the growth, productivity of rice crop and decreased its pest infestation by the used of vermibiotechnology with different biopesticides.

TL;DR: To check this epidemic, awareness programmes and preventive intervention are urgent need of the day, according to author's.
Abstract: HIV/AIDS is a debilitating health hazard and a social reality rooted in human behavior. It is particular reported by high risk in urban areas, mainly among truck drivers, sex-workers, migrants and people engaged in hotel and tourist industry. Present study is data plus information collect from NACO. India has 3rd highest number of HIV-infected people (According UN July 2014) as for as this health disorder is concerned. It is very sensitive and a lot of social stigma is attached to it. Acquired immune deficiency syndrome(AIDS) is an incurable disease and reported from almost all states of country, It is spreading beyond the high risk group and now it an indigenous as any other disease Hetro-sexual route is mainly responsible are for the most of cases except N.E. states. Authentic information is not available at any level, but still author's have tried their best and concluded the alarming condition. To check this epidemic, awareness programmes and preventive intervention are urgent need of the day.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors synthesize polymers containing vanadium, molybdenum, nickel, copper and zinc ions by reaction of resol-bisphenol A formaldehyde resin (RBF) with the schiff base complexes of these metal ions.
Abstract: Polymers containing vanadium, molybdenum, nickel, copper and zinc ions have been synthesized by reaction of resol-bisphenol A formaldehyde resin (RBF) with the schiff base complexes of these metal ions. The incorporation of metal ions, especially the molybdenum ion, into the polymer matrices produced polymers with good thermal stability. The resulting metal containing polymers showed higher thermal stability. The thermal analysis of the obtained polymers were evaluated by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC).

TL;DR: The SWOT Analysis were carried to predict the potentials of renewable in establishing the Green Networks in Indian scenario and the several parameters were taken into account for giving the final verdict for implementing the concept.
Abstract: The telecom industry in India traditionally use grid power as the primary source and diesel generators as the secondary source, or as backup to grid power. The average load at a telecom site usually varies from 0.75 kW to 20 kW. Green Network Initiative may be a comprehensive energy-efficiency and alternate-energy program covering high impact initiatives, which are aimed at reducing the carbon footprint through lower and optimized diesel usage. These initiatives broadly comprise Alternate energy sources, Energy efficiency measures, Demand side management. Passive telecom infrastructure in India is dependent on diesel generators as the primary source of backup power, due to (a) poor grid supply, (b) no grid connectivity in rural areas and (c) low quality grid power. Recent developments in renewable energies might overthrow the diesel generator as the technology of choice for off-grid mobile base stations. Renewable energy has evolved considerably over the last couple of years so much. In this research article we explored the potential of impacts to tilt the balance in favor of telecom towers powered by renewable energy. SWOT Analysis were carried to predict the potentials of renewable in establishing the Green Networks in Indian scenario. The several parameters were taken into account for giving the final verdict for implementing the concept. Although the work was done on the secondary data (i.e. collected from different reports, online sources and surveys) to inspect the applicability of Green Networks concept in Indian context, but the method still needs to be refined with in situ data for the upcoming studies.
