Synthesis and halogenation of 2-chloro-1,3-alkadienylphosphonic acids
TL;DR: In this paper, 2-Chloro-1,3-alkadienylphosphonic acids have been synthesized by hydrolysis of the 2-chloro, 1,3,alkadieneylphophosphonic dichlorides, and their bromination yields mixtures of 2-hydroxy-5,6-dihydro-2H-1-2-oxaphosphorine 2-oxides and phosphorylated 2- chloro,1,2,3tribromoalkanes.
