TLDR
In this article, an air spring for transport vehicles comprising a vessel (piston) of rigid, pressure-resistant material, such as steel, and a bellows (9), fitted onto the vessel, of e.g. nylon-reinforced rubber, being in pneumatic connection with the "piston" and connected to a source of compressed air.
Abstract
The invention relates to an air spring for transport vehicles comprising a vessel ('piston') (10) of rigid, pressure-resistant material, such as steel, and a bellows (9), fitted onto the vessel ('piston') (10), of e.g. nylon-reinforced rubber, being in pneumatic connection with the 'piston' (10) and connected to a source of compressed air. The invention is characterised by the 'piston' (10) being provided with an air shut-off valve (13) in the opening (12) towards the bellows (9).

Process for coupling a trailer with the use of a vehicle level regulation system

TL;DR: In this article, a driver assistance system is provided for coupling a trailer coupling mounted on a vehicle to a counterpiece mounted on the trailer, where a control unit is provided in the vehicle, where, when a predefined first condition holds, the control unit controls at least one actuator of a vehicle level regulation system such that at least the back part of the vehicle is lowered and/or, when an additional condition holds when the actuator is activated, the vehicle can be raised.
