TL;DR: In this article, a study on the pronunciation and perception of English sounds and words by university students of English in Sudan, whose native language is Sudanese Arabic, was carried out and the results revealed substantial discrepancies between the native and non-native varieties, which can be used to explain the degraded intelligibility of SA-accented English.

Tres problemas de fonología en torno a las paravocales

TL;DR: In this article, the authors develop an analysis of Spanish glides from a functional phonological point of view, by examining three topics: the distinction between vowel and consonant, which reveals a conflict about their place and their phonological nature either as units of the phonological system, or as allophones of other vocalic or consonant units.
