Abstract: 
The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for generating a three-dimensional printing file using two-dimensional image conversion. The method for generating a three-dimensional printing file using two-dimensional image conversion comprises: a step of receiving two-dimensional images in four directions including front, rear, left, and right sides including a target object; a step of preprocessing the inputted two-dimensional image in each direction to extract the target object from which noise is removed; a step of correcting the extracted target object to equalize the size of the target object in each direction, and extracting a number of pixels given a color for each vertical axis coordinate of the side images as depth information; a step of rendering the target object in each direction based on the depth information to generate a three-dimensional image; and a step of generating a three-dimensional printing file including shape information of the three-dimensional image by triangle mesh generation and slice operation.
