The stamping machine for sheet material employs a sheet feeder and a hydraulic blanking press with at least one knife of steel strip. The feeder has a slide holding the sheet and driven in two directions at 90 deg. w.r.t. each other to feed the strip to the press. The slide can pref. ber driven across a long carrier, moved towards or away from the press. A motor uses threaded spindles to drive the carrier, which is fitted with a second motor moving the slide. The blanking knife is pref. fixed on a turntable, for blanking out soles or heels for footwear from sheet fed to the press by a carrier operated by numerical control to provide the max. number of blanks from each sheet.read more
