TLDR
In this article, a multi-band reflector antenna having a main reflector, a sub-reflector, an antenna, a first feed and a second feed is presented. But the sub reflector may be shaped to distribute the output of the first feed reflecting off the sub- reflector onto the main reflectors, whereby a central area of the primary reflector has a lower illumination than a surrounding outer area.
Abstract
A multi-band reflector antenna having a main reflector, a sub reflector, a first feed and a second feed. The first feed, the sub reflector and the main reflector positioned in a Gregorian optic configuration wherein an output of the first feed is directed to the sub reflector, from the sub reflector to the main reflector and from the main reflector into a first beam. The sub reflector may be shaped to distribute the output of the first feed reflecting off the sub reflector onto the main reflector whereby a central area of the main reflector has a lower illumination than a surrounding outer area of the main reflector and or elongated vertically. The second feed projecting from a hole in the sub reflector is oriented whereby an output of the second feed is directed to the main reflector and from the main reflector into a second beam.

Mobile-beam antenna mounting

TL;DR: In this article, a mobile-beam antenna mounting comprising a supporting base (6), at least one reflector (1), and a transmission and/or reception source is proposed. But the source is arranged in the mounting so as to be immobile relative to the supporting base, and the mounting further comprises a mobile carrier supporting the reflector.

Composite multi-beam and shaped beam antenna system

TL;DR: In this article, the two subreflectors are combined into a single subreflector assembly employing a metallic concave reflector covered by a layer or coating of frequency selective optical material which allows for propagation of radiation at one frequency to the metal reflector while reflecting radiation in the other frequency band from a surface of the coating.

Small volume dual offset reflector antenna

TL;DR: In this article, a dual offset Cassegrain reflector type microwave antenna without adversely affecting performance while retaining the simplicity of the main reflector's and subreflector's traditional simple surface curvatures is solved by having the paraboloidal shaped main reflectors's focal length, fm, and diameter, D, fulfil the criteria that the ratio of fm to D is less than 1.0.
