Elastic seals (12, 18) seal each end of the ring chamber (11) formed between the two pipes at the coupling. The innermost seal (12) is gas-tight, at least in the direction towards the transported fluid. ADVANTAGE - Improved seal, preventing gas and water vapour entering the fluid line, for pipes at all inclinations.

The double tube for pneumatic conveyance possesses an inner tube (1) for conveyance and a jacket tube (2). Located between them is a chamber (3), the pressure of which is to be monitored. So that there is no need to use cooling or heating means for temperature compensation, the ends of the tube portions are connected directly to one another by means of flanges and the ends of the jacket tube (2) by means of independent flanged connections (13, 100), between which a sleeve (8) is clamped. The latter surrounds the flanges (102) of the inner tube (1).
