Abstract
In this dehydration device, a plurality of adsorption towers for alternately carrying out an adsorption process to adsorb moisture contained in CO2 gas, and a regeneration process to desorb adsorbed moisture, are provided in parallel on a CO2 gas supply line, and during intervals in which the adsorption process is carried out in predetermined adsorption towers, the regeneration process is carried out in other adsorption towers. In the dehydration device, a portion of the CO2 gas dehydrated by the adsorption towers currently in the adsorption process is heated by a regeneration gas heater and supplied to an adsorption tower (A) currently in the regeneration process, whereupon the CO2 gas supplied to the regeneration gas heater and the CO2 gas discharged from adsorption towers currently in the regeneration process undergo heat exchange by the regeneration gas heater. In the dehydration device, heat-exchanged CO2 gas discharged from an adsorption tower (62) currently in the regeneration process is cooled by a regeneration gas cooler, and condensed moisture is separated from the cooled CO2 gas, and returned to the adsorption towers. Consequently, the dehydration device can minimize the increase in utility consumption due to the regeneration process.
