Abstract
Y. Marguerat — Entrepreneurs from the Highlands: Bamileke in Cameroon. ; Resume of a geography D. Lit. thesis on the Cameroon Bamileke written by one of them. This is the first attempt at a scientific description of their justly reputed entrepreneurship, which has led them to assume a pre-eminent position in the national economy. For evident political reasons, the hostile reactions of other Cameroonian groups are only alluded to in this otherwise fascinating account.
