To this end, according to this invention, in a print system that includes a digital camera, and a printer which can directly communicate with the digital camera, the printer has transmission means for transmitting information indicating that it has a function of automatically detecting the paper size and type to the digital camera, and the digital camera has a user interface for notifying the user that the printer has that function.read more
