PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ring laser gyro having improved bias stability, with the notice of the variation of beam intensity is focused. SOLUTION: In the ring laser gyro that includes a dither mechanism for angularly oscillating the a gyro block, a laser beam is oscillated and propagated in both directions in a ring-shaped optical path in the gyro block; the oscillation frequency difference of two laser beams is generated by an angular velocity input, and an interference fringe generated by the superposition of the two laser beams is detected by a photodetector to detect the angular velocity, the ring laser gyro includes: a light intensity detector for detecting the beam intensity of the laser beam; a beam intensity time differential operating section for time-differentiating the beam intensity detected by the light intensity detector; and a beam intensity correction operating part, to which the beam intensity detected by the light intensity detector, the beam intensity time differential value operated by the beam intensity time differential operation part, and the angular velocity detected by the photodetector are input and which outputs the corrected angular velocity, after the correction operation is performed. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preclude stress from being applied onto a block constituting the laser resonator of a ring laser gyro, even if the temperature varies. SOLUTION: This ring laser gyro is provided with a bottom plate 10, a plurality of base parts 20 arranged on the bottom plate 10, and a plurality of vibrating parts 30 jointed and supported by the base parts 20. Each of the vibrating parts 30 comprises an outer circumferential part 31, inscribed with an attaching hole of the block of the ring laser gyro, and a vibrating beam 32 extended from the outer circumferential part 31. Each of base parts 20 comprises a jointing part 21 jointed with an inner end of the vibration beam 32, and a pair of extension parts 22 extended from the jointing part 21 toward the outer circumferential part 31, and is fixed with the bottom plate 10 on an extended end side of the extension part 22. Respective radial dimensions L 1 , L 2 , L 3 , and linear expansion coefficients α 1 , α 2 , α 3 of the bottom plate 10, the base part 20 and the vibrating part 30 are selected so as to satisfy expression: L 1 α 1 +L 3 α 3 =L 2 α 2 .
