Micropropagation of vegetable crop species

TL;DR: In vitro techniques to multiply plants by embryogenesis, organogenesis, and non-adventitious shoot proliferation are reported in the literature with many vegetable species, but unlike many ornamental and fruit species, most vegetables have received only limited commercial interest beyond research and production applications within certain private industries such as vegetable seed and plant biotechnology companies.
