Halogenated phosphate polyesters

TLDR
HALOGENATED PHOSPHATE POLYESTERS, useful as FLAME RETARDANTS for POLYURETHANE FOAM, are described in this paper.
Abstract
HALOGENATED PHOSPHATE POLYESTERS, USEFUL AS FLAME RETARDANTS FOR POLYURETHANE FOAM, ARE DISCLOSED WHICH HAVE THE FORMULA R-(X)A-(O-P(=O)(-O-R'')2)N WHEREIN R IS AN ALIPHATIC HYDROCARBON RADICAL OF 1-8 CARBONS OR AN AROMATIC HYDROCARBON RADICAL, X IS A HALOGEN, A IS AN INTEGER OF 0-4 N IS AN INTEGER OF 2-6, AND EACH R'' IS INDEPENDENTLY A HALOALKYL RADICAL. ACCORDING TO PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS OF THE INVENTION, THESE POLYESTERS ARE REPRESENTED BY THE FORMULA (R''-O-)2-P(=O)-O-R-O-P(=O)(-O-R'')2 WHEREIN R AND R'' ARE AS INDICATED ABOVE.
