This report is concerned with the application of high speed data processing in the management of a fleet of vehicles involved in highway maintenance. Specifically, documentation techniques, cost usage and maintenance cost control, replacement methods and budgeting are discussed. The method of formulation of a unique replacement priority list is given and finally, some of the user's experience and the expected future potential of the system is reported.read more
