The image processing device includes an image conversion unit ( 111 ) that converts at least one image among the input images that form the stereoscopic image into a planar image, and an image generation unit ( 151 ) that generates the display image by synthesizing the planar image that has been converted by the image conversion unit ( 111 ) and an image among the plurality of input images that has not been converted into a planer image by the image conversion unit ( 111 ).
