TLDR
In this article, the authors proposed a remote streetlight monitoring and controlling system based on the Microchip's PIC16F microcontroller, which can be applied in various places with controllable in time such as Schools, Stations, Roads and Industries and so on.
Abstract
The proposed system deals with remote streetlight monitoring and controlling system. Street light system's includes a threshold situation in time and automatic control pattern for conservation of electricity by making switch ON light automatically during vehicles passing & light will switch OFF later. It results in conservation of electricity in comparison with existing streetlamps in operation during nights. The proposed system can be widely applied in various places with controllable in time such as Schools, Stations, Roads and Industries and so on. The proposed system is constructed based on the Microchip's PIC16F Microcontroller.
