Method for preparing synthetic natural gas from coal carbonization gas as raw material

Abstract: The invention discloses a method for preparing synthetic natural gas from coal carbonization gas as raw material. The method comprises the following steps of: (1) performing dry distillation pyrolysis reaction on coal raw material in a dry distillation furnace by burning hot waste gases, to produce coal tar, coal carbonization gas and semi-coke; (2) spraying water to the gaseous mixture composed of coal tar and coal carbonization gas produced in the step (1) to separate the coal carbonization gas from the coal tar; and (3) maintaining the volume ratio of carbon monoxide to hydrogen gas in the coal carbonization gas to 1:(2 to 5), removing acidic gases, allowing reactions to occur between carbon monoxide and hydrogen gas in the coal carbonization gas to produce synthetic natural gas, and liquefying at a low temperature to obtain the final product of synthetic natural gas. The method produces synthetic natural gas from coal carbonization gas as raw material, adopts low-temperature separation and purification techniques and liquefied natural gas production techniques, overcomes the difficulty of preparing synthetic natural gas from coal carbonization gas in case of no pipeline transportation, and is significant in application value.
