Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform regulation during change in a kind of gas without replacement of a gas nozzle, by a method wherein a nozzle pressure is set through replacement or regulation of a gas pressure regulating member, mounted to a gas passage, so that the same flow rate of gas calculated in terms of calorie is injected through a gas nozzle. CONSTITUTION:In a gas device being a type in which a primary air for combustion is forcibly fed to a burner for a hot air type gas heater, when a kind of gas is varied, the same flow rate calculated in terms of calorie is provided by means of a regulating screw 9a of a governor 9 through regultion of a set pressure. However, if a set pressure is set to a low pressure of about 10mm. H2O when high calorie gas is varied, even if a slight error of about 1mm. occurs to the set value, an error ratio inrelative to a base value is incresed, and thereby a gas flow rate is sometimes widely changed. In which case, mounting of an orifice 11 enables the set pressure of the gas governor 9 to be increased by an amount equivalent to a decrease in the pressure of the orifice 11, and a gas flow rate is substrantially prevented from a change due to even slight unevenness in a set pressure. When low calorie gas is used, the orifice is removed and a plug is placed in an insertion port 12. Regulation during a change in a kind of gas is effected through regulation and replacement of a gas pressure regulating member, and this causes facilitation of a regulating work.
