Abstract
A novel electronic brake pedal comprises a left support, a right support, an angular displacement sensor and a pedal spindle. The angular displacement sensor is a non-contact electromagnetic inductive sensor and comprises a sensor body and a sensor spindle, one end of the sensor spindle sequentially penetrates a left support hole formed in the left support, the pedal spindle and a right support hole formed in the right support to be matched with the inside of the sensor body in a rotating mode, and the other end of the sensor spindle is matched with the left support hole in a rotating mode. During usage, the pedal spindle is rotated firstly to enable the sensor body to generate induced currents inside, then, the sensor body converts the induced currents into two ways of voltage signals and outputs the two ways of voltage signals to an electronic control unit (ECU) of a whole vehicle. According to the novel electronic brake pedal, the service life of the angular displacement sensor is prolonged, abrasion between the sensor spindle and hole walls of the supports is low, assembling steps are simplified, and the production cost is reduced; and besides, the brake pedal can be matched with an HCU to achieve intelligent control of the whole vehicle while the safety of the whole vehicle is guaranteed.
