Two-dimensional perfect quaternary arrays

TL;DR: Two-dimensional arrays of fourth roots of unity which have all out-of-phase periodic autocorrelations equal to zero are studied, generalizing the concept of a perfect binary array and are called perfect quaternary arrays.

FALP: Fast Beam Alignment in mmWave Systems With Low-Resolution Phase Shifters

TL;DR: A framework called FALP for Fast beam Alignment with Low-resolution Phase shifters, which uses an efficient set of antenna weight vectors to acquire channel measurements, and allows faster beam alignment when compared to exhaustive scan is presented.

Necessary conditions for Menon difference sets

TL;DR: A necessary condition for Menon difference sets in groups of the formZ2p×Z 2p×Gq, whereGq is an abelianq-group andp, q are distinct prime numbers, will be proved and constraints on the magnitudes of p andq are given.

FALP: Fast beam alignment in mmWave systems with low-resolution phase shifters

TL;DR: In this paper, a framework called FALP for Fast beam alignment with low-resolution phase shifters is proposed, which uses an efficient set of antenna weight vectors to acquire channel measurements and allows faster beam alignment when compared to exhaustive scan.

Symmetric Designs: An Algebraic Approach

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present some of the algebraic techniques that have been brought to bear on the question of existence, construction and symmetry of symmetric designs, including methods inspired by algebraic theory of coding and by representation theory of finite groups.
