Polyacrylate thickening agents

TLDR
In this paper, a novel polyacrylate thickening agent which is composed of monomers comprising (meth)acrylic acid, (2) glyceryl allyl ether derivative, and optionally (3) one or more other polymerizable monomers.
Abstract
This invention provides a novel polyacrylate thickening agent which is composed of monomers comprising (1) (meth)acrylic acid, (2) glyceryl allyl ether derivative, and optionally (3) one or more other polymerizable monomers. In another embodiment, this invention provides a print paste containing the defined novel polyacrylate thickening agent.

Polymeric thickeners and their production

David Farrar, +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors define polymers as "polymers made by polymerization of an ionic monomer such as methacrylic acid or dialkylaminoalkyl (meth)-acrylate or -acrylamide and/or a substantially non-ionic monomer, optionally a cross linking agent, and an allyl ether of the formula CH 2 ═CR'CH 2 OA m B n A p R where R' is hydrogen or methyl, A is propyleneoxy or butyleneoxy, B is ethyleneoxy and

System and method for providing polarization matching on a cellular communication forward link

Joseph Shapira, +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a method of controlling a plurality of beam patterns radiated by a base station in a wireless communication system. But this method requires the user to receive at least one signal from a mobile station at the base station.

Polymers containing macromonomers

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors disclosed that polymers can be solubilized in water with the aid of an alkali, like ammonium hydroxide, which can increase the viscosity of the paint and brush drag.

Carboxylic polymeric thickeners

TL;DR: In this paper, a polymerizable mixture comprising an ethylenically unsaturated acid and an oligomer of an allyl-containing ester of acrylic acid or methacrylic acid is useful as thickening and bodying agents when partially or completely neutralized.
