The invention discloses a preparation method of a graphene/copper composite material. The preparation method includes the following steps: step 1, weighing copper sulfate pentahydrate, nickel sulfate, citric acid and boric acid so as to prepare a mixed solution A, and stirring the mixed solution A; step 2, placing the mixed solution A in a magnetic stirring water bath kettle for heating the mixed solution A, then adding graphene oxide solution into the mixed solution A, stirring, and preparing a mixed solution B; step 3, adding sodium hypophosphite solution into the mixed solution B, stirring, and performing an accelerated reaction and ultrasound dispersion treatment so as to obtain a solution of the graphene/copper composite material which is evenly dispersed; step 4, performing repeated suction filtration on the solution by using a microfiltration membrane, repeatedly washing filter residues until PH (potential of hydrogen) value of the filter residues is neutral, performing vacuum drying, and performing reduction so as to obtain the composite graphene/copper composite material.
