Abstract
The article discusses Russia's involvement in the Syrian Civil War under Russian President Vladimir Putin, including in regard to U.S.'s policy towards Russia's military strategy in Syria and Russian involvement in the Ukrainian Conflict. An overview of the role that Russian intervention in Syria's Civil War played in Russia's world power status is provided.
