Based on face anthropometry theory, this paper proposes a new algorithm for implementing the theory of facial caricaturing as an automatic computer generator. It developes the computational theory of facial caricaturing by transforming a model of a face into a caricature from predefined prototypes databases. Once a prototype has been formed for a collection of faces it is posible to generate caricatures by accentuating the difference between an individual face and a relevant prototype. The algorithm defines some facial prototypes using anthropometry theory, then it amplifies the difference between the face to be caricatured and the corresponding prototype face. Discussion and an illustration of some experimental results give validation of the proposed algorithm.
