Journal ArticleDOI
Traffic signal timing using two-dimensional correlation, neuro-fuzzy and queuing based neural networks
TL;DR: A two-stage method for intersection signal timing control using a neuro-fuzzy network and a combination of Self Organizing and Hopfield neural networks for improved intersection throughput improvement is presented.
Dissertation
Duality relations in finite queueing models
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors study duality relations in finite queues when the arrival and service processes are interchanged and obtain inequalities between queue being empty and queue being full for both the time stationary and Palm distributions.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Modeling of IP-GMPLS Multimedia Traffic and Network for Admission Control Using ns-2
TL;DR: This work presents work on modeling multimedia traffic over an Internet Protocol - Generalised Multiprotocol Label Switching (IP-GMPLS) network for admission control using the network simulator ns-2 to generate GMPLS network scenarios.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Feedback Impact Analysis of Queueing System with Stable States
TL;DR: Adaptive feedback data flow rate control methods can be used to achieve stability and satisfactory service quality of a queueing system and it is demonstrated how with the proposed data packet rate-control scheme the buffer overflow does not occur.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Multi-Plane Network Model Realization in an Optical/RF Hybrid System
TL;DR: This paper proposes a resource management scheme for an optical/RF hybrid system and looks into the realization of multi-planes model in this hybrid system that supports an acceptable QoS level.
