In this paper, the authors proposed a receiver capable of reducing the influence on an active antenna, and surely detecting the connection state of the active antenna by detecting the current detected by the current-detecting circuit.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver capable of reducing the influence on an active antenna, and surely detecting the connection state of the active antenna. SOLUTION: The receiver 20 connected to an active antenna 10 comprises a current mirror circuit, equipped with a reference-side transistor (transistor 60) and an output-side transistor (transistor 61); a power feed circuit (antenna power feed circuit 23) for feeding power to the active antenna via the output terminal of the reference-side transistor; a current-detecting circuit (resistor 62) for detecting the current fed to the active antenna through the power feed circuit by a current through the output terminal of the output side transistor, and a state-determining circuit (comparator 57 and resistors 54-56) for determining the connection of the active antenna to the receiver, by the current detected by the current-detecting circuit. Load connection state detection circuit

TL;DR: In this article, a load connection state detection circuit is presented, where a PNP type transistor (13) whose emitter is connected to a power source terminal (11), a NPN type transistor and a diode (14) inserted between the collector of the PNP Type transistor and an external antenna load (16), where the diode is configured to perform temperature compensation for the base voltage of the NPN Type transistor (24) and prevent currents from flowing from the external antenna loads to the PTP type transistor.

Antenna device connection circuit

Maruyama Koji
TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed an antenna device connection circuit that is capable of limiting a current and is suitable for power saving, which includes: a first resistor 11 that is connected to a power supply terminal 72; a second resistor 12 whose one end is grounded; a first switching element 1, whose other end is connected with the one end of the second switching element 2 through a third resistor 13; and a fourth resistor 14 connecting between the one-end and the other-end of the first-switching element 1.
