Screeding apparatus of road pavement vehicle

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance working efficiency and finishing performance by minimizing the paved portion remaining without being pushed and solidified by a screed even when the screed is turned with a minimum radius together with a vehicle body. SOLUTION: This screeding apparatus of a road pavement vehicle comprises the screed 11 towed by the vehicle body 5 to laying down and leveling an asphalt mixture and smoothly finishing a paved surface and a pair of left and right end plates 15 so installed on both sides of the screed 1 as to project forward from both sides. The end plate 15 comprises a side frame 16 fixed to the side of the screed 11, an opening/closing plate 18 rotatably fitted to the side frame 16 through a hinge pin 17 and bendably toward the inside of the screed 1 in the lateral extension width, and an opening/closing mechanism 19 for holding the position of the opening/closing plate 18 after the rotation of the opening/closing plate is adjusted.
