TL;DR: A sintered body of aluminum nitride with high thermal conductivity and high density of at least 3.2 g/cm and comprising at least 94% by weight of aluminium nitride, at most 0.5% of bound oxygen and at most 1% of metal compounds as impurities, wherein the metal of the metal compounds is silicon, iron, chromium, nickel, cobalt, copper or titanium as discussed by the authors.
