Abstract
The subject of the invention is a float, the shape of which, respecting hydrodynamics, ensures the stability of the paddle which is added thereto The paddle, balanced perpendicularly to the water surface, and which is flexible in its central part, responds to all the propulsion movements made by the swimmer, with great sensitivity The movement of this assembly (float/paddle) with adjustable amplitude, combined with a webbing of the swimmer's lower limbs, performs well over long distances This assembly gives reassurance and steadies the swimmer owing to the capacity of its non-submersible support and the constant signalling of the latter (maritime code appearing on each paddle) When dismantled, its overall size remains extremely small, and is thus practical
