Does Jewish schooling matter? A review of the empirical literature on the relationship between Jewish education and dimensions of Jewish identity

TL;DR: This article examined the relationship between Jewish schooling in childhood and subsequent aspects of adult Jewish identity and found that the continued involvement of children in Jewish study associated with adult commitment to Jewish identity as measured by varying attitudes and behaviors.
