Parental rights in religious upbringing and religious education within a liberal perspective.

TL;DR: In this article, a critical examination of parents' rights in religious upbringing and religious education within a liberal perspective is presented, arguing that parents have a right to give their children a certain kind of religious upbringing; one where their children are brought up to have an initial determinate religious commitment, but one which is both open to, and compatible with, the child's eventual achievement of autonomy.

Another Look at Character Education in Christian Schools.

TL;DR: A review of the literature and meta-analytic research into the effectiveness of character/moral education programs reveals that Christian educators should be wary of implementing such curricula as mentioned in this paper, due to problems associated with programming rationale, faulty methodology, and the lack of appropriate research may leave educators questioning the validity of character education interventions.

The lived experience of God and its evolution in children and adolescents

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors aim to build on the work of those who have investigated elements of the spirituality of children and adolescents in a qualitative way, in order to understand how young people experience God, what they think about God, and how they relate to God.
