The invention relates to a wild wind-sand flow observation method. A gradient multidirectional sand collector involved in the method consists of a low barrel, a main support rod, a 16-way collector, two 8-way collectors, a collection bag and a fixed device, wherein the two 8-way collectors are connected with the main support rod through dead bolts, so that the heights of the two 8-way collectors can be freely adjusted as required and then the wind erosion conditions can be detected on various heights, thereby improving the using flexibility of the sand collector. By utilizing the sand collector, wind erosion materials with different wind directions and different height ranges can be respectively collected. The sand collector is simple in structure and convenient to mount and maintain, is capable of carrying out long-time wind erosion observation so that the labor intensity of wild wind erosion observation is greatly reduced, and is capable of correctly and efficiently observing the wind erosion amounts of wind erosion areas at different heights.read more
