TLDR
In this paper, a photoelectric converting element on the reverse surface of a stimulated phosphor layer was used to convert fluorescent light into an electric signal and store it, to determine the reproduction conditions of image reproduction according to the stored data.
Abstract
PURPOSE:To convert fluorescent light into an electric signal and store it, to determine the reproduction conditions of image reproduction according to the stored data, and to reproduce an image of good quality by providing a photoelectric converting element on the reverse surface of a stimulated phosphor layer CONSTITUTION:The stimulable phosphor layer 6 emits fluorescent light corre sponding to the quantity of transmitted X-ray irradiation The light is converted into electric signals by photoelectric converting elements 8 arrayed on the reverse surface of the stimulable phosphor layer 6 Those signals are stored in a memory part 22 which is provided on the reverse surface of the glass substrate 2 of an X-ray image conversion plate 20 and connected to the photoe lectric converting elements 8 Then, the X-ray image conversion plate 20 is inserted into an image reader 24 to read an X-ray transmitted image At this time, the data stored in the memory part 22 of the X-ray image conversion plate 20 is sent to an image reader 24 and used to determine the conditions of the image reproduction Consequently, a read is made under the best read conditions and the image of good quality is obtained
