This paper suggests new methodology for measuring User Experience in HRI.

It is concluded that User Experience is the more mature concept, both at the level of theory and practice.
Our results underline the importance of combining research on job design and career development, and suggest that career competencies may have a role in stimulating employee wellbeing.
Four design cases in three companies showed that the goals are useful in keeping the focus on user experience, but several challenges are still left for future research to tackle.
These findings are theoretically important because they demonstrate that SDT can bridge job design theory and career theory, pointing to new ways that job and career experiences are interrelated.
