What is the purpose of the paper?5 answersThe purpose of the papers varies based on the context provided. The first paper focuses on the creation and development of entrepreneurship, emphasizing the influence of determining factors on economic growth and motivating young individuals to engage in entrepreneurial activities. The second paper aims to describe the features of "inverted" educational resources for distance learning, catering to the modern characteristics of students and enhancing educational engagement. The third paper delves into the study of desecularization in Russian society, tracing its origins and manifestations over time. The fourth paper discusses the applications of paper in biomedical sciences, particularly as a supporting material for tissue engineering and diagnostic devices, highlighting its potential in the field. Lastly, the fifth paper outlines the policy thinking behind adult safeguarding statutory provisions in the Care Act 2014, emphasizing key themes and requirements for safeguarding adults.
What is this paper?4 answersThe paper is an attempt at a synthetic presentation of one research area in phraseology and paremiology, namely the evidence of old material culture preserved in fixed multi-word units. The author considers previous achievements in this field and indicates the options for completing new tasks connected with collecting, describing and analyzing multverbisms motivated by material culture realia, and with an attempt at popularizing scientific reflection on this topic. Computer hardware systems become more and more complex, software and tools lag more and more behind. This is especially true for scientific software that often demands high performance, and thus needs to take advantage of parallelisms, memory hierarchies and other software and systems. How do we help bridge this ever-increasing gap? This paper describes some of my experiences and thoughts regarding licensing, code sharing, code maintenance, open access publishing, and education and training. Lake sediments and wetland peats provide valuable archives of changes in anthropogenic inputs into natural ecosystems. Sediments of remote mountain lakes are particularly useful because contaminants in these settings are solely derived from atmospheric deposition. This study presents the first historical record of contamination for Lesotho, a hydrologically important region in southern Africa, exporting about 35% of the water used in the Gauteng/Mpumalanga urban-industrial complex in South Africa. The paper is a part of an ongoing discussion on various topics of historical Slavic accentology with Frederik Kortlandt. The topics discussed in the paper are: the reflex of the Proto-Slavic short neo-acute in Kajkavian; the reflex of pretonic and posttonic length in West and South Slavic; the reconstruction of the ending *-ъ in Slavic genitive plural, its accentuation, and the ending -ā in Stokavian and Slovene; the lengthening of the bȏg ‘god’ and kȍkōt ‘rooster’ type in Western South Slavic; the *oborna ‘defense’ and *cьrnĩna ‘blackness’ type accent and retractions of contractional neo-circumflexes; the reflex of Slavic *o in Slovak and Czech monosyllables; and the valence theory and Proto-Indo-European origin of Balto-Slavic accentuation. This paper explores 22 same-sex couples’ views on civil partnership and marriage. The data are drawn from the qualitative phase of a larger study of money management and relational practices in same-sex relationships. Twenty-seven participants indicated that they were more or less likely to register their relationship as a civil partnership, 10 described themselves as undecided about partnership recognition, and six signalled a lack of interest in civil partnership (and one provided no codeable data). This summary necessarily glosses over the complexity of the data and the ways in which they are underpinned by ambivalence, contradiction, and different ways of conceptualising civil partnership, marriage, relationship recognition and celebration. We explore this complexity by presenting six themes running through the participants’ talk about civil partnership and marriage. The paper concludes with a discussion of these findings in relation to the (limited) existing empirical literature on same-sex marriage and relationship recognition.
What is the propuse of this paper?5 answersThe purpose of the paper is to present the creation and development of entrepreneurship and its influence on economic growth in the country.
What is in this paper?5 answersThe paper attempts to describe and explain the evolution of the state, particularly in Western Europe where modern democratic regimes originated. It explores the motives that led human beings to accept and develop organizations called states, as well as the conditions that favored the development of modern democratic political regimes in Western Europe. The paper also discusses the evolution of Western European societies from a stage characterized by disorder and violence to a more organized form of government.
An Operational Definition?5 answersAn operational definition is a definition that is based on observable patterns of action or measurable criteria. It defines a concept in terms of the actions or characteristics associated with it. The operational method involves determining the indices or criteria that are most closely associated with the concept by observing individuals or groups that exhibit the concept. This method allows for the quantification and statistical generalization of data, which can be used to determine the degree to which a population exhibits the concept. The operational definition of a concept can be used to analyze and assess capabilities, diagnose medical conditions, and define physical laws. It provides a clear and objective framework for understanding and studying the concept.
What is the result of this paper?3 answersThe result of the paper by Xie and Dai is the proposal of a two-step hybrid scheme and a new lower bound on the secrecy capacity of the action-dependent DP-WTC with noiseless feedback. The proposed lower bound is shown to be optimal and tighter than existing ones in the literature for some cases. The results are further explained through numerical examples.
