Air pollution, caused by factors such as increased chemical and physical load, has been linked to an increase in diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and respiratory diseases. The study conducted by Kanee et al. found that the air quality in Abuja is generally good and healthy, but the high range of particulate matter (PM2.5 and PM10) ratio remains a concern, especially for sensitive individuals such as pregnant women and infants.
