Abstract: : Internationally, and within the US, there is a considerable interest and corresponding financial investment in hypersonic (Mach 6+) airbreathing missile propulsion to provide the increased speed and standoff ranges desired for future weapon systems. While this experimental work is continuing, there have been significant activities in ramjet (Mach 2-5) missile developments in the US and around the world, involving flight testing and newly deployed missile systems. Anti-ship missiles continue to proliferate and the US has responded with a ramjet missile target development and related weapon studies. Anti-radiation missiles, time-critical strike missiles, and air-air missiles are also in development. Several historical and current programs at ARC are helping to close the gap in US capabilities relative to other nations. This paper will briefly cover international developments in ramjet-powered missiles taking place in recent years, and describe current ramjet missile and propulsion technology developments within the US.

TL;DR: In this paper, the capability improving of the AAM because of using the RRS design is analyzed and the stability criteria for static instability missile body is discussed. But the question of artificial stability for the static instability is not discussed.
Abstract: With introducing the ACT to overall design of an Air to Air Missile(AAM), this thesis analyses the capability improving of the AAM because of using the RRS design, and sets forward the stability criteria for static instability missile body. Finally, it emphatically debates the question of artificial stability for the static instability missile body. The research results have some value to overall design of the AAM.

TL;DR: In this article, three kinds of typical missile aiming systems abroad are introduced, including railway mobile, launched missile under silo and submarine-launched ballistic missile, and they also discuss future development of the missile aiming technique.
Abstract: Along with the development trend of ballistic missile tending to solid rocket engine, mobile launching, advanced guidance technique, straight shoot, short flight time, small volume, preferable mobile, rapid response speed and powerful breakthrough ability, the missile aiming technique is also developed. In this paper, three kinds of typical missile aiming systems abroad are introduced, including railway mobile, launched missile under silo and submarine-launched ballistic missile. Because the missile azimuth aiming has a great influence on the precision of missiles, there is a growing interest in developing the missile aiming technique in many countries. Furthermore, the paper also discusses future development of the missile aiming technique.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe the procedure for launching a missile with automatic target guidance from an aircraft (200) consisting of slowing the missile after release from the aircraft by causing it to adopt an angle that increases its drag, and starting its rocket motor and target guidance systems only after a predetermined time lapse, ensuring that the missile is further than the minimal safe distance (300) from the launch aircraft, e.g. 50 m or more.
Abstract: The procedure for launching a missile (100) with automatic target guidance from an aircraft (200) consists of slowing the missile after release from the aircraft by causing it to adopt an angle that increases its drag, and starting its rocket motor (102) and target guidance systems (101, 103) only after a predetermined time lapse, ensuring that the missile is further than the minimal safe distance (300) from the launch aircraft, e.g. 50 m or more. Depending on the relative speeds of the aircraft and missile and the missile's trajectory, the missile's rocket motor is started about 2 secs after launch and the target guidance system after about 10 secs.
